For those of us that have been running around looking  bug eyed with barely a moment to rest, the recent  after parties were warmly welcomed.

Full swing into  New York Fashion week and cortisol levels are  feeling  more stabilized, the after parties felt like a hug/ love fest. Everywhere you turned people were hugging and congratulating each other :)

From Ivana Helsinki’s Store opening, Dominic Louis’s after party at Bunker to Tommy Sunshine & Dan Alcala  and the very crowded 3.1 Philip Lim Party at Red Egg, the positive, fashion  vibes  were a perfect way to kick off  Valentine’s Day <3

New York based womenswear designer, Titania Inglis  showed her Fall/ Winter 2012 collection today at EYEBEAM.   Using sustainable methods of production , Titania continues to redefine the aesthetics of  sustainable/ eco -friendly design.

The models walked to the 90′s anthems of Hole, Nirvana and the Stone Temple Pilots. Impeccably  styled  Christian Stroble,  using  Bliss Lau and  DrMartens  to accentuate the grunge theme.

The asymmetrical silhouettes in plaid, soft leather and luxurious wool fabric were perfectly complimented with minimal foundation and  strong lips  by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics.

With Fashion Week around the corner  , Milk Studios was the perfect venue to host the launch of  “  WHITE GIRL PROBLEMS ” by Babe Walker.

This  humorous commentary on  situations and problems  that affect middle class ,  Caucasian  women is a must read!

When a respected Hollywood  celebrity,   Susan Sarandon  is quoted as describing the book as  ” absolutely hysterical ” you know that this will go down as a popular culture gem!

Friday night at LE BAIN , Pioneering  Garage House  TODD EDWARDS played with Jacques Renault.

Despite being a weekend in the Meat Packing District, the atmosphere felt like old school New York . Patrons seemed to have left their ego’s at work and danced off there woes to the  house anthems.Whether it was the guy was sporting a crew cut hairstyle and a suit or a the  guy in a leather jacket and  mohawk , the beat brought everyone together.
